Jakob Stengel, Managing Partner & Global Head of Board Practice

Jakob Stengel is the Managing Partner of Case Rose International and the Global Head of Board Practice at InterSearch, and joined the firm in 2012 after 5 years as a partner with some of the leading global firms of the executive search industry; Stanton Chase International, Odgers Berndtson and Boyden International.

His earlier professional experience includes 10 years of senior management positions with large multinational industry leaders in financial services.

Jakob has significant consulting experience as a trusted advisor for a vast number of Denmark’s Top 200-companies, and extensive business experience at strategic level from international and cross-cultural corporate environments.

His search experience spans over several industries and functional areas, primarily on Board-, C- and Senior Management-level.

Jakob has co-authored four management books and is a recognized media expert and frequent speaker on the topics of corporate governance, leadership and career development. Furthermore, for the past 3 years he has acted as external lecturer on the MBA program at Copenhagen Business School, and latest as external lecturer on the Executive Board Programme at INSEAD / Business Kolding Institute.

Jakob holds a degree as Master in Law (LL.M.) from University of Copenhagen, and possesses more than 17 years of experience in serving as Chairman and / or Non-executive Director on more than 10 different Boards of Directors in Danish companies. In addition Jakob was the founder (and long serving chairman) of VL53 under The Danish Management Society.

Most significantly, Jakob is the founder and chairman of The Danish Professional Directors Association, BOARD NETWORK which since its foundation in 2012 has held the position as the preeminent organization in Denmark for non-executive board members. Jakob is further the co-founder of the unique global mentors corps, Board Mentors, and is one of the founding fathers of The Danish Diversity Council.

Thorbjørn Bahnson, Partner

Thorbjørn Bahnson is a Partner at Case Rose | Intersearch in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Thorbjørn is an experienced and trusted advisor within executive search and leadership consulting on all levels from board and C-level over senior management to select specialist positions – across virtually all industries, but particularly in consumer/retail, industry and private equity.

Thorbjørn has 20 years of experience in senior international general management roles. He has worked in several expatriated positions across geographies as diverse as Russia, Central Asia, Caucasus, Ukraine and The Middle East. The companies that Thorbjørn worked for include international blue-chip FMCGs (e.g. Cadbury Schweppes and Lindt & Sprüngli) and the number one food enterprise in Iran (Solico Group.) During these roles Thorbjørn has been the driving force behind business performances of large sales organizations across multi-country territory.

Originally educated as an army officer in the Danish Army, Thorbjørn ended his military career with the rank of major during his missions to the civil war theatres of Tajikistan and Georgia in the mid 90-ties. In addition to his military academy studies, Thorbjørn has also concluded the Graduate Diploma at Copenhagen Business School as well as numerous other executive programs in organizational behavior, economics, marketing and strategy at different business schools. Thorbjørn is fluent in English and can communicate efficiently in Russian, German, Norwegian and Swedish in addition to his native Danish.

Prior to joining Case Rose | InterSearch, Thorbjørn entered the executive search industry working as a partner in a Danish boutique firm as well as running his own consulting leadership advisory business.

At Case Rose | InterSearch, Thorbjørn will be concentrating on recruitment of board members and senior leaders across sectors as well as advising C-suite level leaders on optimizing organizational leadership and talent processes.

 

Lisbeth Blak-Lunddahl, Partner

Lisbeth Blak-Lunddahl is a Partner at Case Rose | InterSearch in Copenhagen, Denmark. Lisbeth joined the firm in December 2022 after 20 years of positions within management, leadership, consulting and executive search.

Her extensive business experience at strategic level ininternational and cross-cultural corporate environmentscomprise positions as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Human Resource, Head of Processes and Project Management Office, Head of Global People and Mobility Management, Partner in Executive Management Consultancy, Partner in Executive Search Company and Membership of Boards and Advisory Boards. She holds a degree as Master of Economics and Management Philosophy and is a certified physical coach, mental coach and bodyguard

Her earlier experience spans professional footballer and strategic security manager / advisor on large scale crowd safety (+100.000 spectators) – over certified physical and mental coach and trainer – to talent managersenior vice president of strategic human resource and executive search partnerAll this within a wide range of business sectors, private and public, primarily within financial services (insurance, pension funds, private equity, software technology) and the construction and real estate sector (advisory, investmentand development).

Lisbeth has participated in research and development of best practices for conflict management and personal safetybased on group psychology and behavioural analyses of especially larger crowds. Further, she has taken the psychological understanding and insight further into physical and mental coaching and training of elite athletes

Combining these skills with the solid commercial and management philosophy insight, Lisbeth works holistically in developing C-level management, boards and advisory boards, leaders, talents, teams and organisations. Focussing on the wholeness of body and mind she facilitates bringing forward and developing the best possible and most resourceful mental and physical state of everyone involved. Jesper Halle, Partner

Jesper Herold Halle joined Case Rose | InterSearch in January 2024 after more than 25 years of living and working in Asia and the Middle East. He has established sales, production and legal entities in most of the region and has worked for corporates, startups and in senior government official roles, most lately as the Commercial Consul for the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in China for 5 years.

Today, after having relocated to Denmark in 2023, Jesper draws on his long and versatile experience by acting as an esteemed advisor to and connector of people and businesses between Asia and Europe.

Jesper specializes in assisting Asian companies on all aspects of doing business in Europe and European companies operating in Asia – especially in China. Jesper holds an extensive and most distinguished high quality network across most sectors in the Asian region and beyond.

Jesper has held various international board of directors’ positions. He has a strong understanding of cross-cultural leadership, motivation and team dynamics. He has extensive experience in government relations work on behalf of commercial entities, and a broad understanding of dynamics within the green transition and circular economy.

Claes Nørskov, Partner

Claes Nørskov joined Case Rose | InterSearch in January 2024 with 25 years of experience as a consultant within executive search, strategy execution, business development, corporate culture and leadership covering various industries.


He started his consulting career within a Nordic consultancy teaching sales development and leadership with a focus on behavioural psychology.

Claes first entered the executive search industry by building a consultancy with a focus on organisational development, training and executive education within professional services, before joining an international search company as a partner.

Later, he developed a board of directors’ education for lawyers in collaboration with Henley Business School with focus on strategy and leadership, and most lately Claes developed the first ever detailed AI-driven corporate culture analysis that provided a prediction of any company’s future Return on Equity. He has a great interest in behavioural psychology which he uses proactively in his work.

At Case Rose | InterSearch, Claes is concentrating on recruitment of board members, CxOs and VPs/SVPs/VPs.
